Our Mission at WRKS 98.5 PHILADELPHIA is to add diversity; by doing so, we are playing a wide range of music, Jazz, Pop, R&B, Rock, Rap, Gospel, Funk and Alternative from Kid Rock, Steely Dan to Lady GA GA to Miles Divis, Spiro Gyra to Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond, Prince to the Psychedelic Pimps.
WRKS 98.5 PHILADELPHIA takes pride in taking chances by playing the music that you desperately want to hear. Many times, you, the lestening audience, are unable to go out to a party due to the bad weather or sickness, baby setting or for what ever reason you can not go out, so we bring the party and the entertainment to you.
We play the music from signed and unsigned artists. We believe that there is alot of unknown talent out there that need exposure so why not give them the opportunity for their music to be heard. Some of the material of the unsigned artists are beautiful ballads, upbeat dance tunes and relaxation tunes.
